These are the moments that remind us why we do the job. Proud of our guys for going above and beyond. Great job brothers!Last week, #CGFD firefighters Jesus Rivas (pictured) and Rich Haapala responded to help a man with Down syndrome who had suffered an ankle injury. He really took a liking to our crewβand our hats! Seeing how much he was going through, we let him wear one of our hats to cheer him up. His smile said it all, so we told him to keep it.
A few days later, he and his mom stopped by the station to say thank youβand brought us a gift so we could remember him too. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. β€οΈπ #casagrandeaz #firefighters #CommunityStrong #Gratitude
