Your Professional FireFighters of Casa Grande will be hosting our inaugural charity golf tournament on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Dave White Golf Course. The tournament will raise funds for our Casa Grande Firefighters Charities. Our charities host several local events throughout the year and the funds raised will go directly back to the Casa Grande community.

One thing we are all thankful for is being able to giveback to the community in which we serve.

Today your local 3752 Firefighters were fortunate to aid in handing out food boxes in the holiday food drive at #caringhandsofpinalcounty.
Special thank you to #absoluteconstruction for the contributions to our charities fund. Which allowed us to deliver 30 turkeys to families in need.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Tucson Fire Department and AMR Southern Arizona and all families affected after the senseless acts of violence yesterday.

We are always humbled by the outpouring of support from the community and local business wherever we encounter it! This week brush 503 assisted with numerous other agencies at the Aquila fire. Thank you to all community members who offered cold drinks and food while seeing the unit in its duties. And a big thank you to all who supported Peaks & Valleys Restaurant fundraiser, and to @Erini Macrides for spearheading a generous donation to a number of crews in the area

Casa Grande Firefighters say thank you and goodbye to one of our own. Today Robert “Bubba” Matzinger retires from the Casa Grande Fire Department after 27 years of distinguished service. Beginning his career as part time status in 1993 Bubba transitioned to a career firefighter in 1999. Bubba served the community as a Paramedic Firefighter, Engineer and ends his career as a Captain. Bubba will continue to serve the community as a first responder now as a 911 dispatcher. From your brothers and sisters Bubba, thank you.

Big shout out to the Casa Grande Home Depot Team! They have generously donated on scene decontamination kits to every unit. These kits will be utilized for decontamination of personal protective equipment following fire events in an effort to curb occupational cancer and exposures to our firefighters. Thank you Home Depot from all of our members.

Thank you Olive Garden for providing lunch to our members on Labor Day!

We are so very humbled and thankful for our community! Michael Henderson cooked enough hot dogs and hamburgers for 50 people, then brought them to Fire Station 501 for the crews to eat after battling a large fire for multiple hours. Mr. Henderson would not accept any reimbursement for the food. Thank you all for your outpouring of support, and thank you to the Henderson family for keeping us fed after a long afternoon!

Thank you to the awesome citizens of Casa Grande, because you we were able to collect over $2,600 during our Fill the Boot campaign! All of the proceeds were donated to The Muscular Dystrophy Association.
